Giving Thanks in Bellingham...
Earlier this fall, MHNW welcomed residents to the newly opened Eleanor Apartments in Bellingham, Washington. Eighty senior residents have a new place to call home! Some were formerly homeless, making a home in their cars and even in the woods. Today, these seniors have a warm and safe place where they are able to build community.

Go Red for Heart Health!
On February 3rd, MHNW celebrated National Wear Red Day in support of women’s heart health. Each year, the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement advocates for more research, awareness, and action for women’s heart health. One in three women die from heart disease annually – it is the number one killer of women.

Homelessness and Housing Advocacy...
In honor of Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day (HHAD), February 2nd, a sea of over 600 community advocates in red scarves gathered at the Capitol in Olympia with the united belief that everyone should have access to affordable homes.
