About Aromor Apts
The Aromor Apartments provide affordable homes to low- and moderate income individuals who are at risk of becoming homeless or chronically homeless. The Aromor was originally built in 1927 as an extended-stay hotel for legislators from all over the state who came to work at the nearby state Capitol. Mercy Housing rehabilitated the property in 2009. The building consists of three floors and a garden-level basement.
The development was made possible in part because of a generous $1.5 million donation from the Schaden Family Foundation through America’s Road Home. The Aromor is part of Denver’s Road Home, the 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness.
