Aug 09Mercy Housing California: The Spirit Lives On
Thanks to all of you that were able to support us in celebration of our 30th anniversary. We were thrilled to have the chance to celebrate in person with some of you and reflect on this milestone during the Gala evening. A booming children’s choir from two of our San Francisco communities opened the evening honoring the Mercy Housing’s founding Catholic communities of women religious.
Under the grand rotunda of San Francisco’s City Hall, guests connected with partners, supporters from across the country, and volunteers to commemorate the beginnings and guiding vision that has changed thousands of lives.
Barry Zigas, Chair of Mercy Housing’s National Board of Trustees, and Lloyd Dean, President and CEO of Diginity Health emceed the night—sharing personal stories and reminding us of the profound impact each of us has on the people and communities of Mercy Housing.
The audience enthusiastically engaged in a live auction for trips to Hawaii and Mexico and an opportunity to Fund the Mission of Mercy Housing.
As always, we are sincerely thankful for your steadfast support and dedication to the ongoing work of Mercy Housing.
Live in Hope!

Mercy Housing California President
