Jun 25Summit at Belmont Coming to Columbia
With 76 apartment homes, Summit at Belmont is the redevelopment of Dorrah Randall, a Columbia Housing Authority public housing community for families. In partnership with Mercy Housing Southeast (MHSE) and Columbia Housing, this Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion involves building a new affordable community for households at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
All apartment homes will continue to have PBRA/RAD subsidies, allowing the community to serve the lowest-income families. Each residence will feature a private entrance, while residents at the Summit at Belmont will have direct access to a separate community building, community garden, and playground.
