Mercy Housing Mountain Plains hosted round two of “REDI to Talk: The Road Toward Racial Equity,” with a conversation about what it takes to end systemic racism and how we can build more equitable communities.
Maya Sol Dansie and Nadia Ali joined us as diversity, equity, and inclusion training and consulting experts. Both Nadia and Maya Sol have deep knowledge and experience in the research, creation, and delivery of social justice curricula that are culturally grounded and age-appropriate.
The discussion was hosted by Jennifer Thibault, Mercy Housing Mountain Plain’s Regional Vice President of Operations. Maya Sol and Nadia shared how they guide individuals, communities, and organizations in this work while prioritizing the health and mental well-being of underrepresented individuals and communities of color.
