Tonight, on the first night of winter, please remember those who suffer because they have no home.

Sleep Where?

It’s horrible for a person to sleep in a place as cold as a refrigerator, but around half a million people in the U.S. are doing that tonight and it’s not by choice.

It’s Longest Night of The Year

December 21 is the longest night of the year and according to the National Centers for Environmental Information, the average U.S. temperature this December is 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s the recommended temperature for refrigerators, not people.

So What Can I Do?

A lot! There is so much that we can do about homelessness, as a country, as a state, as a neighbor, and as a person living in a community. You can donate and give someone a home right now.
