National Volunteer Week has been inspiring for Mercy Housing residents and partners this week. We thank everyone that’s come out and joined the community at our properties to help out. UnitedHealthcare and Mercy Housing recently teamed up for a volunteer project at Mercy Place Belmont in Belmont, NC, and they didn’t let a little rain

Thanks to Wish for Wheels, kids at Mercy Housing have brand new bikes. Wish for Wheels is a nonprofit that offers an excellent team building experience and community service opportunity through building bikes for children in need. The White Rock Village Community Care Team is committed to serving its community. The team consists mostly of residents who live at White Rock Village and have decided to give back to the neighborhood and community at large.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered in 2015.  You truly enriched the lives of our residents.  Over the course of the year, 95 volunteers provided fun-filled holiday parties, backpacks filled with school supplies, holiday presents, and so much more.
