Meet the Keynote

Ijeoma Oluo (ee-joh-mah oh-loo-oh) is a Seattle-based writer, speaker and Internet yeller. Her work on social issues such as race and gender has been published in The Guardian, Esquire, Washington Post, ELLE Magazine, New York Times, NBC News and more. She has been featured on The Daily Show, All Things Considered, BBC News, and more. She wrote the #1 New York Times bestselling book, “So You Want To Talk About Race.” Her Second book is “MEDIOCRE: The Dangerous Legacy of White Male America,” and her third book, “Be A Revolution: How Everyday People Are Fighting Oppression and Changing the World – and How You Can Too,” was released earlier this year.

Meet the Emcee

Terry Hollimon is a TV & radio personality who can be seen on both Fox 13 and King 5 Seattle. He is the creator & co-host of The Barbershop Show Show from 710 ESPN, Sports Radio KJR, and iHeart Radio. The husband and father of 4 graduated from the University of Washington, where he played football from 1993 to 1997.
