Nestled in Redwood City’s North Fair Oaks neighborhood, Middlefield Junction offers easy access to Highways 101, 82, and 84. The community includes 179 brand-new one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes across two buildings.

Of the 179 apartments, 20 are reserved for households that meet the requirements of the Healthy Housing California program, and 24 are reserved for households that qualify for the Housing Authority of San Mateo County’s Project-Based Voucher program. All 44 of these apartments are available by referral only and are located across both buildings. The remaining apartments are available to the general public. All households must meet income and occupancy limits, along with other eligibility requirements.

With a Walk Score of 85 and close proximity to Caltrain and SamTrans, Middlefield Junction makes car-free living easy. Bike storage is available in select buildings, and limited resident parking is offered for those who still want the option to drive.


The application period is now closed. The lottery was held on May 2, 2025, and all applicants should have received their lottery numbers through the Doorway Housing Portal. Applicants may receive periodic email updates from the property management team regarding leasing status.

Applications are reviewed in lottery rank order, with homes offered based on availability, bedroom size, and AMI percentage eligibility. If all eligible homes are filled, applicants will remain on the waiting list and may be contacted when an eligible home becomes available.
