Feb 08Message from the President 2023
While we’ve earned recognition as leaders in our field, we recognize that there is still work to be done. In 2023 we initiated a self-assessment to identify strategies that will help strengthen our organizational resilience while also outlining a roadmap that expands our commitment to equity and social justice.
I am humbled by our 1,700 employees, from our passionate leadership team to the dedicated staff who ensure the safety, cleanliness, and meaningful resident programs and services for Mercy Housing residents — each plays a pivotal role in our success.
As we step into the New Year, I would like to thank you, our supporters, for being a vital part of our success. 2024 is going to be a year of continued growth as we work to meet the critical demand for more affordable housing communities while increasing access to opportunities and resources that enhance the lives of Mercy Housing residents.
Yours in Hope,
Ismael Guerrero
