Grocery shopping during a pandemic can be stressful and unsafe for many older adults and disabled people. Thanks to Interfaith Food Pantry, residents at Mercy Housing Lakefront’s Marian Park Apartments received bags filled with nutritious food delivered to their front doors.

Interfaith Food Pantry took extra precautions handling the food to protect the health and safety of the residents, staff members, and volunteers who participated.

We also want to give a big shout out to our amazing Resident Service coordinators, Taylor, Dorothy, and Brian, for coordinating the safe delivery of the bags and their outreach to ensure the families and seniors residing at Marian Park feel supported and cared for.
