Jun 20Growing and Learning Together — Happy World Refugee Day!
The U.S. has a long history of accepting, helping, and learning from refugees. Mercy Housing follows this tradition. Grace Apartments in Colorado is dedicated to refugees and immigrants, primarily from Asian countries like Bhutan, Nepal, and Burma. As a family property, the majority of these households work and are doing their best to make end meet in their new homes.

We have opportunities and resources for you to get involved with helping refugees and immigrants adapt and thrive within our communities.
Like many of our properties, Mercy Housing offers Resident Services to these families at Grace Apartments. Resident Services like English as a Second Language (ESL) and health and wellness classes are helping them to thrive. Grace Apartments has beautiful gardens that are rich with vegetables and residents enjoy sharing their culinary traditions.
Access to language skills and education can lead to incredible opportunities. They already have for so many. Did you know that Madeleine Albright, Henry Kissinger, and Albert Einstein were all refugees? Refugee families offer limitless potential and hope for our communities.
For questions, information, and ways to help refugees, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants is a great resource.
