May 09The Mercy Housing family is growing!
In April, the Franciscan Sisters of Wheaton, Illinois officially began the process of transferring management of 33 of their affordable housing communities to Mercy Housing. These residences are located in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin.
We are honored to have been chosen to carry on their legacy and thank all of our supporters who have helped us to provide homes to people most in need.
It’s because of you that Susan Dillberg, President, and CEO of Franciscan Ministries, said, “Mercy Housing is a national leader in affordable housing, and we know we are leaving our communities in extremely capable hands. They are committed to serving communities with compassion, and strongly believe in the power of affordable housing to enrich lives.”
