Support Mercy Housing and Win a 2015 Ford Escape

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Denver, Colorado (04/15/15) – Mercy Housing is participating in Amp the Cause’s “A Million For What Matters” campaign. Since 2011, the campaign has served as a way for nonprofits all across Colorado to raise additional funds for their organization.

By purchasing a $10 raffle ticket to support Mercy Housing, participants will be entered to win a brand new 2015 Ford Escape; all while supporting safe, affordable, service-enriched housing for people with low incomes, including families, seniors, veterans, and people with special needs.

Participants can purchase tickets at www.amillionmatters.com until May 23, 2015. 100% of the money from ticket sales goes to Mercy Housing, minus credit card processing fees. When purchasing a raffle ticket, make sure to select Mercy Housing in the drop down menu as the organization you would like to support!

“The ultimate goal of Amp the Cause is to help children and families succeed – for us, that means supporting the great work of many types of organizations across our community,” said Christie Isenberg, President of Amp the Cause. “A Million For What Matters helps these nonprofits raise money for new ventures, while keeping existing funds allocated to essential programming and services.”

“Supporting Amp the Cause’s efforts is a great way for Coloradans to invest in their own communities,” said Jane Graf, CEO of Mercy Housing, Inc. “By purchasing raffle tickets, Coloradans are directly helping their neighbors, friends, and communities thrive.”

With 100,000 tickets available to be sold through the raffle, Amp the Cause makes $1 million available to participating organizations.

The winning ticket will be drawn at Amp the Cause’s annual fundraiser, Denver Day of Rock. This event is held on Saturday, May 23rd at 7:30 pm at Skyline Park, located at 15th and Arapahoe Street in Downtown Denver.  You do not need to be present to win.

Help spread the world by sharing the raffle on your Facebook page and other social media sites and please make sure to tag @mercyhousing!
