More than 90 individuals and staff members came together on October 24th for the fourth annual St. Catherine Residence’s Community Breakfast. The event was held at the Italian Conference Center in Milwaukee and raised more than $17,000.
The merger of St. Catherine Residence and Mercy Housing Lakefront was a topic at the breakfast. Cindy Holler, President of Mercy Housing Lakefront, and Rita Larsen, a member of the Friends of St. Catherine Residence group spoke about the importance of providing hope and resources to women and families in need.
Wanda Jenkins and Valerie Yelk, two residents, shared their stories of how living at St. Catherine Residence has made a difference in their lives and helped them to achieve their goals.
Additionally, more than a dozen members of the St. Catherine Residence Board of Directors were recognized for their outstanding service and dedication during the event.
