Mercy Housing is committed to community safety and connecting with our neighbors across the state. Over the past month, multiple sites took part in National Night Out, a designated event to connect neighbors with one another.
National Night Out is designed to increase community awareness while addressing anti-crime efforts. Mercy Housing sites in Bellingham, Everett, Lynnwood, Kent, Tacoma and Olympia took this opportunity to host events ranging from BBQs to a block party – inviting neighbors, surrounding businesses, local police and fire departments and other community members to visit with one another to share safety concerns and strengthen community partnerships. Along with community safety, this event was a great way to share the neighborhood spirit and have fun on a summer day!
