Mercy Housing Lakefront Selects New President

Dear Colleagues, Partners and Friends of Mercy Housing Lakefront,Mark Angelini

Every day we work together toward our shared vision; creating stable, vibrant and healthy communities and alleviating poverty for the people who live in the homes we have created. I’m thankful for the dedication of our colleagues and staff and their hard work throughout the year keeping Mercy Housing on the cutting edge of affordable housing in 43 states serving over 150,000 people.

We’ve been vibrant and growing for the last eight years under Cindy Holler’s leadership at Mercy Housing Lakefront.  I’m now thrilled to honor that legacy with a seamless transition to new leadership; providing stability and vibrancy internally as well.

I’m very pleased to announce that Mark Angelini has been chosen as President after successfully serving as Interim President and Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development for nearly five years.  Not only will Mark continue to work to fill the gap between the need and the availability of affordable housing, he will now lead a talented staff in serving our residents and our communities every day.

With nearly 30 years of experience in economic, community and real estate development we know that Mark has the broad based leadership and housing background to lead Mercy Housing Lakefront. He has held executive positions at The Shaw Company, S.B. Friedman & Co., and the Illinois Institute of Technology. He holds a B.S. in engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. in engineering from Northwestern University. Mark’s years of experience and commitment to our mission will ensure that MHL continues to tackle the big housing challenges facing the Chicago and Milwaukee areas.

Please join me in congratulating Mark as he officially takes the role of President of Mercy Housing Lakefront.  Truly, we appreciate your support and look forward to our continued work together.

 Your partner in hope,

Jane Graf
